Be brave, sweet and Kind!

So over the weekend I got some new stencils and one of them was this rectangle background. It is a fun little stencil and great for a first time user like me. I had gotten this stamp set awhile back and I hadn’t used it yet. For some reason, I just thought these two things went together well.

I used this stencil with hickory smoke distress oxide. I wanted there to be a background but a subtle one. I stamped all the images using my Lawn Fawn black dye ink pad. I then colored the images with alcohol markers and also for the extra detail in them I added some color pencil. I love how the pink flower turned out. It is a lot of layering of color. So much fun! I cut all the images out by way of fussy cutting! No dies came with this set. 😐 The background still needed a little extra something so I stamped the small little flowers randomly over the base of the card and did a quick color. I stamped brave sweet and kind to the bottom and added it to a pink notecard size card. This was a fun little card that came together fairly quickly using a lot of different techniques. I like how this card turned out, but I think there is still something missing. I am going to go add a little sparkle to it! Have a great day everyone, be Brave, sweet and kind!
