Fancy Fold Card

Good Morning crafty friends! I had a fantastic vacation last week and I am almost ready to jump back into the swing of things as soon as Monday is over. LOL! I was excited for the beautiful weather this weekend and while I got to be outside and enjoy it, my heart was longing to be up in my studio making cards. Recently I made a purchase of a new die cut and I was shocked when it came how big it was. But after doing some research and hanging around my crafty peeps on various Facebook groups, I realized what I got wasn’t what I thought I ordered. So now I am so excited about this die and what it does. I guess I should pay more attention to what I order! This time it was a happy accident! So here is the card that we are going to talk about today!

Mother’s day is coming up soon, and so I thought I would try this new die set out with a Mother’s day card. I really need to start working with more of my paper. I have so much and haven’t used it on cards. SO, that was my goal, use some paper up and use this new die. I cut all the pieces of paper out using my new die set. Once I figured out the fold I re-enforced them. I glued everything together. It really did come together quickly, the part that took the longest was going through all my paper and deciding which paper to use! I wanted to add some dimension to the card so I went through my embellishments and found some flowers. I stamped Mother’s day on the back of the card and used the word “Happy” die cut for the front. I love how fun this open and fold is. You are able to embellish the front and the back of the circle. Such a fun card to get! If you want to purchase this card for your Mother, here is the link.

Be sure to check out the link to on the right for lots of other fun dies to get! Have a great Monday!
Paper Hugs!
