Feeling a little SASSY!!

I feel like the season of life really influences me and my creativity! For example…. There are times when I am into only making pretty cards or sometimes I only enjoy making cute cards, I have found that lately I have been a little on the sassy side! Not only has this influenced me with my cards but what I look for when I am doing a little retail therapy. Lately I have come across a few snarky, sassy stamp sets from some really fun companies. One of the stamp companies is Whimsy stamps and the other is called Ink Road Stamps. So some of these stamps are a little to sassy for me. But some of them are just down right funny and make me happy! So today I am going to share with you one from Ink Road Stamps. Make sure you take some time to check out their website. Ink Road Stamps ( Here is the card that I wanted to share with you today.

So this card was super simple to pull together and fast. I started with cutting my card face using my favorite stitched die. (this die is from Ginakdesigns) Once I die cut it out, I used a paint splatter stencil and dioxide ink to create the background. I then stamped my sassy lady out and colored her in with alcohol inks markers. Once I colored her in I went back and added more shading to her with matching colored pencils. I added some white enamel pen for highlights then I fussy cut her out. I added 2 more layers of white cardstock behind her and fussy cut that out as well. Just to add a little dimension to the card. I used the stamp that came with the set that says, Housework won’t kill you, and stamped that on white cardstock and then added a black mat to it. I adhered that to the front and on the inside I used the coordinating stamp that says….But why take the chance to the inside of the card. I added a few matching gems to the front and adhered all of the layers to a typical A2 sized card base. I love the sass!

So whatever season you are at in life, go create something! You will feel so happy you did! Oh and don’t forget to check out the links on the right for a little retail therapy~
