February is a BIG birthday month for me. Not only is it my birthday month, but my hubby’s, lots of cousins, lots of friends and did I mention mine? Ha! So many people to make birthday cards for. So today I pulled a card I made awhile ago, I just am not ready to part with it yet. Lol.

I wanted to work with only two colors for this card. My favorite color is teal/blue. So I started there. I picked out the patterned paper and I used a stamp from stampabilities. It was a silhouette flower stamp. I cut a piece of white cardstock a little smaller then the card base. Big enough for the stamped image to fit. I stamped that in blue and added some random sparkle gems. I didn’t have a lot of the printed paper so I played around with the layout a bit and used these left over scraps of the patterned paper. I placed foam dots under the stamped image. Underneath the image I stamped Happy Birthday on the front of the card. This card came together quickly. I should probably share it with someone this month…..just not sure who. Ha! Happy crafting!
