There are all kinds of superhero’s on this earth! Right now I would say they are doctor’s and nurse’s. Some days I feel like I am my kids superhero. Other days, not so much. But that feeling you get when you finish a card and it is EXACTLY how you had hoped it would turn out…..that is what a superhero must feel like. HA HA. I hope and pray that I can be someone’s superhero someday. But for today I am going to share this card that I made last night. Right now this is not for someone specific, but it might be card that I send off to our local hospital to spread some smiles to the ones who are working so hard to take card of us.
I got to use my new Alta New stencil for this card. I ink blended the colors with some green, blue and a little yellow dioxide ink. I stamped the superhero with a Lawn Fawn black dye ink pad. I colored her in with my alcohol markers and added a little shimmer to her cape with a Noir sparkle pen. I used foam dots to raise her off the center of the card. I then die cut a few stars out of yellow cardstock and added sparkle gem stones to it. I stamped down at the bottom, “The world needs more people like you” with black dye ink. I wanted to leave the inside empty so I could write my own personal note in there.
I hope this card inspires you to send a card to someone who is YOUR superhero. Make the smile! You won’t regret it!
