Interactive Virtual Teacher Card

How fun is this?!

Have I told you how much I love an interactive card?! Cause, I DO!!! I think that it adds so much fun to a card. I couldn’t help myself when I saw this adorable video by one of my favorite people, Jennifer Mcquire, she is the one that introduced me to My Favorite Things Stamps. MFT for short, has such an amazing assortment of stamps and dies and all sorts of fun crafty things to make amazing cards. Check them out sometime!

My Favorite Things

My girls are doing virtual school this year, so I thought this stamp set would be perfect for making just the right cards for their teachers. I first started by making a cut out rectangle on a separate front panel card using printed paper. I then used 2 stitched rectangle dies taped together to create a cut out of the frame. I cut a smaller size 110lbs paper that is the pull card. I rounded the corners on this piece to make it look special. I laid that pull piece under the printed and marked where my rectangle was, so I could stamp in that spot. I then pulled the piece up a bit and marked a second rectangle spot (this is where the teacher goes). I stamped and colored all of the images. I stamped “Teachers can do Virtually Anything” on the front of the printed piece. On the back of the printed piece I adhered foam strips to the back so that it would give enough room for the slider piece to slide. I adhered the printed piece to a card base that was cut at 4.25x 5.5. I stamped pull here from a Lawn Fawn stamp set that I have on the top of the slider part. On the inside of the base I stamped “even from a distance you’re still the best teacher”.

My Favorite Things

I think this set is so appropriate for this school year! I know it will bring a BIG smile to my girls teachers!
