So I might not be in the majority about this, but….. I can’t wait for my hair to be grey/white. It is already happening! I like the extra sparkle! My 7 year old exclaimed to me the other day, MOMMY, your hair is already turning white!! I said, yes I know and she replied, well I am not old enough for you to have white hair! I wanted to say, well, every single grey hair is because of you my sweet, sweet, girl! But I didn’t. I didn’t want her to feel bad and I am excited to have my hair turn, grey/white. I think that there are so many people who didn’t get this luxury. So I will embrace it!

Today I am sharing with you the card that came from this conversation from my little. These stamps are from a company called whipper snapper designs. This stamp I have had for about 15 years, if you can believe that! It is still in good shape and I do use it every now and then. It is one of those stamps that just brings a smile every time I use it or see a card made with it.

For this card I wanted the front to look like it was in a room. So, I started off by cutting the cardstock to 4.25×5.5. I then took a pencil and my T-ruler and made a very faint line across the bottom. I then, put a piece of low tack tape on top of that line. I got out my distress oxide ink in blue and inked blended it across the bottom. Before I took the tape off, I took a sharpie with black ink and made the line of the floor. I then stamped the bunny in the tub on the line. I did very light coloring with some alcohol inks and then added some glossy accents to the bubbles to make them look 3d. I adhered this to a piece of grey cardstock and stamped oh no… on the front of the white cardstock. On the inside I stamped it’s coordinating stamp, ” another grey hare in the tub!”. This was such a fun, quick card to make. It is perfect for that person who is just starting their over the hill time.

Like I said before, not everyone gets the honor of growing older, so embrace it! Share a little silly card with someone to help them smile about it too!
