We recently took a little quick trip to MN. We needed someone to take care of our cats while we were gone. Our sweet neighbor was kind enough to take care of them. I wanted to give her a little thank you card and gift for all that see did while we were gone. Here is the card that I made!
This stamp set I found at Tuesday Morning…just an FYI, this is my most favorite local place to find paper crafting supplies! Even better then Hobby Lobby or Michaels. You can find lots of treasures there! I began by cutting my card front using a stitched die and I took a stencil that I made myself and ink blended a circle in the middle of the card. I then stamped, colored and die cut the cats out. While I was stamping I wanted the card base to be a little extra so, I stamped some paws from the set onto the base. I then did a quick coloring on them, using the same colors I used on the cats. I cut out a black mat for the card front and also stamped a sentiment of Thank you for being so sweet. I placed the cats on the card, one in the middle and the other down in the corner. I adhered the card front and the black mat together and glued that to the card base. This card is an A2 size ( 4.25 x 5.5 ) I used some foam dots to pop up the sentiment and added some gems for a little sparkle. The inside I left blank so that I could add my own thoughts and thanks to the card. This card turned out really cute.
Thank you cards are something that we don’t use a lot anymore. I want to encourage you to make a thank you card and send it to someone who has done something nice for you! I think this whole world could use a little more generosity and making beautiful thank you cards is a way you can do that!
