Well since Valentines day is right around the corner I thought I would share with you this fun little card. I love this technique of cutting the image shape out on the front of the card so that when you open the card the stamped image is on the inside. For the card base, I started by ink blending broken glass dioxide ink to the front top of the card. I then drew a faint pencil line using my T ruler towards the bottom. This gives the card some depth. I then went over it with a black thin sharpie. I stamped “Kiss Kiss, I love u on a banner and popped that up with foam dots. I die cut little hearts and placed them on the front and then a little gem or two for that added sparkle. When you open up the card, not only do you see the turtle, but you find his little froggie girlfriend. She is reaching for more kisses. SO cute and sweet. I also took some time to add a little blended blue color to the inside and drew a matching line on the inside too. I added a big heart cut out with a die and popped that up. These two are quite an odd couple! I added a few little details to the frog when I colored her in. I added black enamel pen to the eyes with a white dot. I added some chalk to the cheek to make it look like she is blushing. I colored her nails in to make them look like they are painted and then I added a little sparkle with a sparkle pen to her lips. All these little details just gives a finished look to the card. I used 110lbs cardstock for the card base and I got the digi stamps from www.stamponit.net. As always with digi stamps, I printed it out on heavy weight cardstock and cut them out after I colored them in with alcohol inks and cut them out on my Silhouette.

I hope you are enjoying your time making your Valentines Day Cards. I am thinking ahead to the next holiday. I have a few ideas for some St Patricks cards and of course Easter. đ đ
Happy crafting!
