Welcome Baby Card

In my inventory of things, I don’t have a lot of baby things. But I always have paper! For this card I used a pack of paper and stickers that I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby! (Oh hobby lobby, do you miss me as much as I miss you?) This card was put together using one stamp and that is on the inside of the card. First I cut a base card out of kraft cardstock. I cut it to the traditional 4.25x 5.5 notecard size. I then found coordinating color scrap pieces of cardstock. I cut the teal color 1/4 of an inch smaller then the base. I then cut the printed paper 1/4 of an inch smaller then the teal piece I adhered these together using a tape runner. I then die cut some circles, 3 different sizes. I used teal, yellow and kraft color. I then stacked and glued those together also using my tape runner. I picked out a sticker that came with the pack and placed that on teal color cardstock and cut it out 1/4 of an inch larger then the sticker. I used foam 3d dots to raise the sticker images above the card. For the inside I cut out some teal cardstock and kraft color using a stitched die cut. I then stamped congratulations on the Kraft color cardstock using my brown Versafine ink pad, and used my tape runner to adhere to the inside of the card. I added 3 yellow gems to the corner of the card and I used my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to add a little sparkle at the bottom of the printed paper. This card can be used for either a baby boy or a baby girl.

I hope that you have a wonderful Monday. This card maker is tired from losing an hour of sleep. I am looking forward to getting into my studio to play today, I hope you can too!
