There are so many reasons to make a card for someone. The toughest ones are the ones that say, with sympathy or thinking of you during this difficult time. When I make these cards for someone, I just want to jump inside the card and jump out with a big, big hug! Cards are the hug that you can give when you can’t be there in person. Today I wanted to share one of those kind of cards with you.

I found this amazingly beautiful die set over the weekend. It is just lovely! I thought it was a perfect die to use to make a simple but, beautiful card. I die cut it using cream colored cardstock. I cut the background piece out of vintage looking printed paper. After I cut it all out, I pieced it all together. I cut the card to a 5×7 size. (I am really loving this size of card) I popped up the middle cut out with some foam dots and added a pearl to it. I stamped “sending you a little prayer” on the front. On the inside it will say, “that God will keep you in His care”. I just feel like these words would bring me so much comfort and I pray that they will for the person that I am sending it too. To me this card is the perfect hug to make someone feel a little better.
Send a paper hug to someone today!
